On October 6, 2026, the first meeting of the RIS Synergy Consortium took place at TU Wien.

First, the new members of the RIS Synergy Consortium were welcomed: Vienna University of Economics and Business and the Medical University of Innsbruck. The focus of the half-day event was on defining the mode of cooperation within the consortium, updates from the existing working groups that are carried over and continued from the RIS Synergy project (master account, import tool, and FUNDify), and an outlook on further topics that can be addressed by the consortium (backlog). In addition, the test version of FUNDify was presented, marking the start of the FUNDify test phase. A go-live is planned for early 2026. There was also a presentation on the Open Knowledge Map from VISConnect. The event was rounded off with a get-together.
