On Tuesday, 19^th November, 2024, the last RIS Office of the project period took place at TU Wien. Over the past few years, the RIS Office proved itself as a tried-and-tested co-working mode: Once a month, different partner institutions invited the project team to come visit and work together.

Highlights of the RIS office included the fact that the concept study for the National Research Portal could be structured and developed in terms of content to a considerable extent in this mode, ideas for consolidating the consortium were gathered, local research information systems of the consortium partners were presented, and discussions could be held directly on site with the local teams and vice-rectors of the consortium partners.

Above all, however, the ‘RIS Office’ working format served as a face-to-face exchange for the working groups, who were able to use their time together on site productively to successfully advance and complete work packages.

At this last RIS Office, the work platform and continuation of the RIS Synergy Consortium were planned, the operating model for the import tool of the interface for application and project data was finalised, and various outreach events were designed. Afterwards, the colleagues ended the successful working day at the Advent market on Karlsplatz.
