  • Category/purpose: Tool for creating research data management plans (DMPs) – specifically machine-actionable DMPs (maDMPs); supports researchers throughout the data lifecycle and facilitates compliance with funding agency requirements
  • Description: Open-source software under MIT licence. Guides users through DMPs in 10 steps. Provides questions, help texts and suggestions. Based on Science Europe Core Requirements for DMPs. Integration with institutional systems (e.g. CRIS, HR, project management). Export as Word or JSON according to RDA maDMP standard.

  • Origin/development: Initiated as part of the FAIR Data Austria project, partnership between TU Wien & TU Graz. Development since 2018. Funding via public grants (Shared RDM Services & Infrastructure).
