The aim of the project is to create the conditions necessary to offer selected tools and infrastructures in the field of FDM as shared services for Austrian universities and research institutions.

This includes:

• Enabling efficient, collaborative and interdisciplinary research based on the reliable and easy reuse of research data and research output
• Jointly developing a critical basic infrastructure at selected locations for research data management in order to support research excellence in Austria as a centre of science
• Developing concepts for cross-university operating models for shared FDM services & infrastructures (maDMPs, analysis platforms, electronic laboratory notebooks and repository systems)
• Secure a leading role for Austrian universities in shared FDM services in an international context
• Establish networking with European and international initiatives (e.g. EOSC), projects and infrastructures.
